Your hosts Janice and Dave Jarvis (nice weather huh!) Dave and Janice with their daughter Daena, decided on a career change in 1992. They left their busy lives in BC's Fraser Valley to venture into the guest ranch business in the beautiful, sunny Kamloops cattle country. Dave was a forestry engineer for Pretty's Timber in Harrison Mills and Janice was a teacher with the Abbotsford school district. Janice's love of horses took her also into a 25 year career of competing and instructing Dressage. She attained her Canadian Equestrian Federation Dressage Judge's card and spent several years honing her skills and knowledge at Dressage shows and 3 day events around the province. Currently Janice is working on completing her Level 3 Parelli Natural Horsemanship and enjoying the communication and rapport that one can have with a horse. At Jandana Ranch, Janice and Dave have given a home to many older, troubled and misunderstoood horses. Jandana has become their last home.
